So much to share, part one!

Howdy all! It's been a while since I blogged and I have so much to share, I am dividing it into two parts! Today, I'm going to cover a couple of special projects I have going on (and that good ol' Rob alluded to in the previous blog).

First of all, I am very excited to tell you all of a webcomic I will be involved with for the next month! What's that? another comic by moi? for a whole month?!? Yes! I give you:

Every Monday-Wed-Fri for the next month I will be a part of Shattered Myth's Creator's Spotlight Project! J. Cebron Cook decided to take some time off from his comic and invited twelve creators to each take a month long turn at the creative helm of his Mythoscape! He (like many of you or so I hope and dream) liked my work and invited me to choose a character to spotlight. I thought Thoth here looked interesting and got to work.  So do be sure to spread a little webcomic love around and check out not only my month but all of the Spotlight stories over at Shattered Myth! And to all of the visitors from the Mythoscape checking us out, I hope you enjoy our comics as much as you did Thoth: Print Is Dead!

Second of all, I have another kind-of-sort-of webcomics related project to share with you all. My girlfriend Sara (who doesn't get mentioned nearly enough here at Remedial Comics and I get reminded of that often believe you me) is a huge... I'd better add some italics and boldness to that... HUGE fan of those fuzzy round balls of fluff that are Squishables.  Now apart from continually trying to convince me that Ash would make a perfect candidate for the Squishable treatment (someday dear, someday) Sara saw that the webcomic for Squishables, The Fuzzy Five was having a contest that she really really really really wanted to win. She had an idea for a comic and very sweetly asked me to draw it up for her... and wouldn't ya know it? We won. So here is the comic... and Sara's first official-unofficial webcomic scripting work (hey you may meet her a convention someday sitting by my side... or at my chair when I am off looking for stuff).  Seriously though, this project was a lot of fun and I got to draw the Justice League, so double win.

And not only is Squishables a great company that makes cute as a button stuffies (we own many and they just keep getting cuter), but they are very webcomics friendly... and if I have any visitors here as a result of the contest, a big fuzzy high-five to you all.

Okay... that's it for part one of this blog. Next week I will get to part two where I share my awesome experience at MCBA's SpringCon! Seriously... I have been at some great conventions, but I absolutely LOVE the MCBA... and I'll tell you all about it next week! Until then, stay wonderful you remedialites!

Still working on that nickname for y'all... Any suggestions?
